POSITION PAPERS

This year, we will take IN-PERSON SUBMISSIONS ONLY for delegate position papers. To be considered for any award, you will need to submit a hard copy of your position paper to the chair. We expect delegates to bring two printed out copies of their papers, one for personal use during debate and one to submit to the chair. At AUSMUN, it is important to note that we offer a position paper award, granted to the delegate with the strongest and most thoroughly researched paper in each room.

Reminder: AUSMUN is a technology-free conference, any research materials that delegates wish to use on the day of conference must be printed. AUSMUN does NOT permit pre-written resolution papers. Use of laptops, phones, and other technological materials will not be permitted.  

This year at AUSMUN we are looking forward to live music, a keynote speaker, photo opportunities and a voter registration booth.

At AUSMUN, we will provide pizza and water for every delegate, with a choice of either cheese or pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately given the scale of our conference, we are unable to provide for every specific dietary need. If you know that you have a dietary restriction, please plan to bring your own food on the day of the conference. We apologize for the inconvenience.
